LO2: Budget

LO2: Launch date

Sheffield Live has stated that we can launch our show between May 1st and July 1st owing to a gap in the schedule. Each weekend we shall plan each content of the show for the following week, as the show will be broadcasted each weekday. Our first show will start in September as it would be pointless starting the show now, as majority of students have finished or nearly finished exams, the show will broadcast through the whole of the year and in the 6 week hoildays it will include summer clubs teenagers can go get involved in.

LO2: DJ/Presenters

 DJ/Presenters
The presenters will be me and Molly Evans and we will host the show each weekday. We would be good presenters because we are both teenagers and would be able to relate to certain topics and give our opinions on them, so the audience will feel more comfortable and be able to relate to us. We are also 2 good friends and this would benefit the talk show as we would be making each other laugh as well as the audience, so this would help for the entertainment aspect.

LO3: Cubase

This is a screenshot of us making our radio Jingle we have used cubase to do this as we want our jingle to sound as professional and as catchy as we can.

LO3: Peer Assessment

Your radio show is really good, very informative and with little bits of laughter that makes the show more realistic and relaxed. It gets the show a more teen feel because it's relaxed and very teen based.

LO3: Talk and Music Radio Production

This is a screenshot from when we were editing our talk and music radio show in audition, this screenshot denotes all the sound tracks in the talk show with the music underneath. We have turned down parts of the tracks where the voices or music is too loud and faded them into the talkshow to make it blend into the track. We have also added our jingle and the short clips of the songs that are in our show between each discussion. We also reduced the amplifaction, this is to remove any high pitches or hissing in our radio show as we want is to sound a professional as possible.

LO2: Running Order

Running Order:

To start off the show we will have advertisement, these will be advertisments based on the target audience so there will be advertisments of clubs for teens. Having advertisments will be a great way to get money to help fund for the music fees, equipment, props, recording studio and licence. After the advertisements we will introduce the show followed by our jingle which will appear on each show. We will kick off the show disscusing exam tips (Keeping in mind that it is a chat show so keeping it as relaxed and informal to an extent) in this we will discuss what is the best way to revise and the best time to revise and so on. After our first discussion we will get the audience happy by playing a hit single which it s great way to start the morning. We will then start our second discussion which will be how to get a saturday job which will be helpful as when your a teenager it is good to get in to work as soon as possible to gain confidence and experience. This discussion will then be followed by a chat about mental illnesses with stress which will be followed by an up beat song that will make the audience feel positive. Before the show ends we will have a teen dating part this will give a chance for the audience to call in or tweet there most embarrassing moment of dating which gets them involved with the show. The show will then end with another happy song so it end on a positive not. The show will then close with the jingle that was at the beginning of the show.

LO2: Legal and Ethical

As our radio show is going to aired early in the morning (Before Watershed) and this is the time that families will be setting off the get to the school, colleges or jobs it means that this radio show will have to be suitable for under 18s, we will do this by using appropreite contain that wont contain bad language or any for of discrimnatory language that could ofend anyone. As our radio show will include popluar songs from artists with record lebels we will have to gain permissions from these people/companies to be able to play. Sheffield Live also have a Performing Right Society (PRS) licenece this gives us permisson to play songs on our radio show as long as we play the fees for the song.

To garentee that out show will be family friendly and we will follow the OFCOM rules, this means that we will avoid anything that can be seen as offensive content. Even though we will be talking about sesitive subjects such as mental health problems that people go through we will not cross the line and by doing this upsetting members of the community.

ADVERTISEMENT PLAYS (After school/college opportunities such as sports, dance, drama and art organisation.)

Chloe: Good morning

Molly: And welcome back to...

JINGLE (30 SECONDS) (T-T-TEEN.LIVE)

Molly: Well, what a morning it is, hope it brightens up later on. I seriously can't wait for summer.

Chloe: God, tell me about it, just walking outside with shorts on or not having to bring a coat...ugh

Molly: I hate that stress of having to carry a coat ugh, but that's not the only stress I hate, guys, it's April and exam are rolling up for most teens. First topic today, exam help! Our theme for this month or so, guys, don't stress!

Chloe: I know, trust me guys, relax, drink, eat and most importantly sleep!

Molly: Best tip, is to schedule everything! From when you wake up in the morning, to when you go to sleep, put how long you going to revise for and when you can have breaks.

Chloe: I used this for when I had exams and this benefit me A LOT.

Molly: Another tip we have for you guys is to stick little post stick notes.

Chloe: What I used to do was cover my whole bedroom and places in my room where I would be more often, for example my desk...to do my makeup and I would stick keywords and meaning around them. So when I would apply my makeup and I would be revising at the same time! Pretty good idea. It helped so much!

Molly: Just stick different colour notes around your room and look at them when you go over. Remember guys, don't stress, worse you can do, relax and start early with revision.

Chloe: So, first tune we got for you is one of my favourites, going to fit in with our next chat...

(Kelly Clarkson-Stronger (What doesn't kill you))

Chloe: Okay, so we're back, so the next chat for today will be discussing, anxiety for our mental health topic. So everyone will experience anxiety in their life, everybody!

Molly: But, some people can experience it a little more than others. Sometimes in life, people just think they can't control it, but you can!

Chloe: Best tip, distractions! That's listening to music, listening to peaceful sounds, talking to a friend and keeping your mind constantly distracted so you aren't thinking about the event that your anxious for.

Molly: If you have a panic attack, relax, breathe, breathe in for 8 seconds, breathe out for 5 seconds...just relax, best advice. So helpful. Anyways, another track for you guys.

(Avicii-Wake me up)

Chloe: We have some more news for you guys. Jobs around Sheffield that you can go apply for, for a part time job.

Molly: We found out that Schuh, Clarks and other shoe shops look for employers in the summer during the time when children are on the 6 week holiday break.

Chloe: I say, go check out jobs in them shops around May, June...keep looking through the window for any sign. So if you want a summer job, their the places to aim for, for extra cash in the summer.

LO2: Proposal Form

LO2: Proposed Scheduling

Hopefully our radio show would be aired between Sheffield Uprising and Sheffield Live duke box, Sheffield uprising finishes at 8:15am so we can fit our show in at that time, the show lasts for 15 minutes as it is just a quick positive show tfor teenages to listen to in the morning while they are on their way to school or college. However as our radio show is so short we will be airing it 5 days a week from Monday to Friday when most students go to School/College.
